Hey thanx for posting Generation Unleashed. When I first heard them, I said to myself, "hey, they're music is pretty fun to listen to and the instruments sound great." I see a lot of potential, and they're phenomenal talent-wise in their instruments. The only problem I have with them are their lyrics and originality, if you listen, their lyrics are too cliche, the lead singer is like a mimic of Hillsongs lead singer, and their songs seem like a ripoff of Hillsongs, no offense. I think they just need to be more fresh, and if they do I bet they'll become one of the great christian bands out there. But unless they don't find themselves, I think they'll become just another big church band out there. And I genuinely hope that Generation Unleashed 2008 will bring an original side of them. Just wanted to put that out there. :)

Well have fun messing with the Amajor scale i suggest pentatonic for starters
A major scale's relative minor is F# minor scale.
Here is the A pentatonic scale, my version for starters:
so in the high notes mess with these notes: ( this is the scale, this means that play these notes in what ever order you want for the solo, just add lots of bends hammer on, lots of delay and wah, whatever your heart desires)

I dont know if u wanna mess with this scale too long, cuz it would be too repetitive, so my suggestion is do what I did wen i was still not as good... Just cut the length of the solo to half, and then hav the other half with a sweeping wah effect (like slowly go back and fort with your wah pedal while playing chords)... These are suggestions, do what you want once again, Im just trying to jumpstart those who are stuck.

Hey so I went to GU and I bought the songbook so I could bring the songs to my church, but I seemed to have lost it and I can't find the chords for the songs anywhere online. Any chance you could post what the chords are for the songs? The riffs are great for the guitars and such, but for a worship band you need chords so that all the instruments can play. If you could post those that'd be great.

This solo isn't all that hard. It it took me three days of playing nonstop to get the hang of it( I drew blood on my fingertips). The text in the coment box might mess up the tabs so there are probably a few mistakes( if you get stuck just listen to the music and play around with the notes in the tabs).
