Here's the new version of Desert Song, in Hillsong United's new album, Across The Earth\\Tear Down The walls. I'm really happy that i managed to get my cd early! In this version United added a few riffs here and there, a few changes but nothing too difficult. :D.

Thanks for sharing, Jerome!

Just had a quick question on how you guys go about recording.

How do you have it set up? Do you use audacity? How do you get various parts and do a fade-in/fade-out for transitions while recording video? Do you directly plug your guitar in your computer? What about the .mp3 track? Do you play that through speakers?

Just questions like that. If you could give me (and everyone!) here a guide on how you do yours, it will GREATLY help me contribute to this site, as I've been here for a long, long, long time.

Oh, and I'm a bassist and there's much work to be done. Heck, don't let bass_levite do all the grunt work!

:)

Best regards,

Darren

Your Welcome AznKenshin ...

Do you use audacity?
-Yes

How do you get various parts and do a fade-in/fade-out for transitions while recording video?
-First i arrange the parts where to fade in and out so while i'm recording it's all done.

Do you play that through speakers?
-Yes, always, i play with the mp3, i turn the volume loud so i can hear parts where to play and to keep the beat of the song.

Do you directly plug your guitar in your computer?
-Yes

To Chris...

Well i change guitar quite often, i use the red when the song is for worship and the COrt for praise songs. ;D

If you plug your guitar to computer, how can you hear it?

Audacity has a delay.

Well i hear it because my guitar is plug on the computer and in my amp. I use a POd so i can plug both. hehe
