Here In Your Presence

Here's Here In Your Presence by New Life Worship. The 2nd half of this song took me quite awhile to get it, till I realised that the guitarist was using a capo on the 5th fret to help with the arpeggios. This solo is really nice, do have a look!

Tabs
Capo the 5th fret. All fingerings are not relative to the capo (i.e. fret them as you would if the capo wasn't there).

I missed out the parts in bold.

Here's where the capo comes in handy, holding down the E string, 5th fret for you.

Hi Kenny, any chance of a redo on the solo after watching the youtube clip? It seems the guitarist's hand was pretty high up on the fretboard.

Thanks for all your efforts with this site. You are really a blessing to everyone.

I think his index finger is on the 14th fret and covers the G,B and E strings...then he hits the A note on the G string and the D, E and F# notes on the B string...listen to the song to get the timing...I'll try to tab it out later...I may be wrong...that's just what it looks like to me

Hey what key is this in?

Anonymous said...

It's in the key of D. :) Kenny, yeah, any chance of doing the solo again, knowing that its possible to play this without a capo?

Thanks. :)

you can play the solo without a capo and when the dude goes further up the neck for that fast part, you can play
----------------------------------------------
-15----15---17----17----19---19---------------
----14---14----14----14---14------------------
----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------

just keep your index finger on the 14th fret semi-barring the G an B strings.

hope this helps :)

b = bad string (so dont play it)
h = hit it

There is a beautiful prominent figure who is often spotted with her fabulous Hermes Constance . Correct, she is Victoria Beckham, an international style icon, fashion designer and also the owner of about 100 Birkin bags. Love her or not, she is the lady who understands fashion and presents herself in a fascinating style.
