The intro is played fast in 16th notes! Not sure how they made the bass sounds smooth. It could be a humbucker pickup. Mine's single coil pickups so it isn't as smooth. I used open strings to increase speed.

It's basically just | G D | Em C | for the intro. There's just additional notes played in between to funk it up. =)
