You Hold Me Now

By Neil

Hi guys here's another song by Hillsong. This version is from the Hope+Faith+Love Album . Recently Nigel posted his amp settings in Hillsong Creative website and thought that I'll try it out and also update my patch based on his latest amp setup to approximate his tone. Check it out at the end of the video where I demoed the tones. God Bless!

Nigels Setup:
---------------
Matchless Spitfire (I used 1993 matchless D-30 in X3L)
Vox AC 15 (I used vox 1960 Class A-15 in X3L)

Delay 1: .8th note
Delay 2: quarter note

if anyone wants my patch its been uploaded at www.customtone.com search for the tone "Droff Spit+Droff Vox15" authored by Neil Rey G.

Hehehe... I always get those questions. Even at church. People would look at me with perplexed faces. LOL

haha... really?

first time i saw the variax i also wondered why there were no pick-ups... i was thinking it was some kind of practice guitar... =)

hey nice job do you have the quarter note delay delaying the .8th???

Neil Rey Gallano said...

Hi I'm not sure I get your question. But the delays are set on two separate rigs (if you will, since its a virtual amp rig setup). quarter note delay on Amp1 and .8th note delay on Amp2. GBU!

Hi Neil! first of all congratulations.. AWESOME tone!! My name's Nick from Argentina and I have a question. Do you use amp at church? Cause I'm interested on the X3 but some people told me it's not the best option to play alive with amp. What's about the m13? what's the diference with x3?
THANKS!!

ahhh! another =) Could you describe this tone... 2 amps and 2 delays (dotted eight and quarter) but the same mix, feedback? distor/over level?/ boost? other?

God bless YOU!!!
