Here's the ending solo for Hillsong's What the World Will Never Take acoustic version that many of you have been asking for. It is really tough, but worth a try!
Also note how Nigel constructed the solo - he started with the song's melody, did an impressive run, and then deviated from the melody with some blues licks.
Tabs
I didn't play these first few notes:
--------------

----9-9h11----

-s10-10--10-10-12-12----14--17----

Here's the fast lick! Use lots of hammer ons and pull offs for the first part.
----------------------------------
-17b19-17b19r17p14h17h19p14h17p14-
----------------------------------

Still at the fast lick - this portion is from the original solo.
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
-17p16p14----14--------------
----------16----16p14--------
----------------------16-----
-------------------------17--
The blues licks start coming in from here.
-----------------------------
-s10-10-10---10--------------
-s9--9--9h11-9---------------
----------------11----9------
-------------------12---12---
-----------------------------
Use some palm mutes for the last four notes.
--------------------------
-----10-------------------
-----9--------------------
-9s11---11-11h12-11-9-----
----------------------12--
--------------------------
To 'remain in the song', Nigel plays a riff similar to the first half of the solo.
-------------------------
-------------------------
-9b11-9-4s6-6s4p2-4-2----
-------------------------
-------------------------
-------------------------
Do an artificial harmonic on the last note to excite the solo. See this post for more on artificial harmonics.
We switch to a more bluesy scale here.
---------------------------------
-s10-10-7b8r7p5------------------
----------------7-5--------------
--------------------7-7-7--7-7---
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
Unfortunately I didn't pull this part off too well in the video!
Some mutes to pre-empt the chords, then strum
--------
-7--10--
-7--9---
-7--7---
----0---
--------
To end off
----------------------------
-8p5------------------------
-----8p7p5---5--------------
-----------7----7p5---------
--------------------7p5s3---
--------------------------3-
followed by an A chord.

omg kenny, nice work there. when i watched the workshop, i was so eager to learn the instrumental.. now its out here, thanks for blessing us kenny! GOD BLESS YOU DOUBLY! :D
Eh, overall its not bad.. But quite a few wrong notes. Such as after the fast shuffle, after the 'E,A'hammer on F#, you play C#,A then B,A. I just tried out, its D, C#, A, B. Yeah. There is wrong harmonics also. But overall its good
woah!
kenny changed shirts halfway through that!
magic!!
