Point of Difference

Here's Point of Difference by Hillsong United, have fun!

There are some synth-ish effects at the start which I couldn't figure out, maybe sometime in the future. I made a mistake with the chords just before the chorus as well (at 1:03; forgot the chord!). Lastly, use the usual dotted 8th note delay for all lead parts

2 general questions:
1. are you using delay while strumming the chords? how do you usually approach this?

2. whats your approach on picking which pick up position you use? normally i just use the neck for everything

I tried strumming with delay initially, but it sounded messy (hence the video had a cut there).. if you have to use delay, you need to do it with a lower 'mix' setting, so the delay isn't as loud as the notes you play.

Generally I use the neck for soloing and the bridge for rhythm, because the neck gives a warmer sound, and the bridge a thinner but brighter sound. But its not a hard rule, depends on what you think is suitable.

Hey Kenny... Just wondering about the part when my counter says 1:26 - but my timer might be screwed - not sure if its meant 2 b countin down instead of up... didja purposely miss the single coil dual bending geetar part at 1:26 etc?

Just wondering btw,
Cwisfa

Oh yah.. i missed it out because of the other guitar part in the verse...

Just bend the 8th fret of the G string for that.
