Break the Silence

By Matt
This song uses ALOT of delay. I used a dotted 8th note delay, but you could use a triplet delay too. Sorry for the audio sounding distorted. For some reason that happened when I rendered the video.

INTRO
I didn't write the whole thing out because of how many times each "set" of notes is played. Just bounce back and forth between the notes and play it out by ear. It pretty basic.

e-----------------------------------------|
B---7----7----7---5----5---5----4----4----|
G-4---4---4----4----4---4----4----4-------|
D-----------------------------------------|

VERSE
B (make it sound interesting)

PRECHORUS
G#m E B C#m

CHORUS
B E G#m E

OUTRO
multiple repeats of
e-----------------------------------------------------|
B-----7--5--4----7--5--4------7--5--4-------7--5--4---|
G--4------------4------------4--------------4---------|
D-----------------------------------------------------|

then finish it off with
e---7--6--4-----------------|
B--------------7--5--4------|
G-------------------------4-|
D---------------------------|

BRIDGE
B C#m B/D# E

thanks for the post. i like the other ones you post as well. i also add this riff (2nd guitar?) in the intro b4 the 1st B chord strike for the verse.

e-7-------------------------7-----
b---7-----7---7---7-----7-----7---
g-----9-8---8---8---8h9---9-----9-

e-----------------7----
b---7---7-----7-----7--
g-8---8---8h9---9-----9 x2
then B on 7th fret instead

and doing octave with the pre chorus, D3 and E x2, 2nd guitar maybe?

thanks guitarpraise, your site helps a lot in many ways.
