No Reason to Hide

By Jerome

Here's a new song by Hillsong United, from their new album, Across the Earth//Tear Down The Walls. I got this song for Free in their website.

I love this song because it gives me more confidence to hear and believe that we have the freedom to rejoice in God's love... isn't that awesome? We must not ashamed in believing In God... Hope you enjoy playing it!

Yeah I figured this song out too. What I play and what you play are pretty much the same thing. I was going to make a video but got a little lazy.

Oh and the chorus / bridge chords are Ab Gb Bbm Db

Samuel said...

I meant the second chorus with the Waoh Waoh part.

what kind of strings are you using

timvaine said...

hey. most of what you are playing is right, but your strumming pattern and feel for the song is way off.

you need to play along to the groove of the drums and include upstroke strums aswell, instead of pure down strokes.

i dont say this to be mean. i go to hillsong and i've heard this song pretty much every day since October last year, so i know how it sounds :p

i hope this helps

hey. thanks for all the tabs.
I personally try to get them on my own, but then search for yours.
I really like the way you talk about God,and I when i see people who play the guitar like you i always wonder if their are giving praise to god or not with their gift. I think you are, and this is the important. All i have to say is thank you.Keep on,please.Bye.
(Im sorry if its to long this comment)

i feel like the bends are wrong? like the b sting notes are right, but how high you bend to is different in my opinion. otherwise amazing tab, keep it up!

i think this solo is a little closer to the real thing

*he uses an octave pedal probably and plays

e-----------------------
b-------13b14r13-----
g-13-13----------------X2

e---------------------
b-------13b14r13------
g-11-11---------------

e---------------------
b-------13-14-16------
g-11-11---------------

e------------------------------
b---------x-x-13-13-x-x-----9--
g-10-10-x-x-10-10-x-x-8h10-----

"b-----9---"
"g-8h10----" is played four times

e-----------------------------------------
b-11--------13----------14----------16----
g-13b15x2-15b17x3---16b18x2---18b20-

e-16--------
b-18b21-X2--

This is my first time on this site, and I may be too late to help clay_da_aussie, but this is how I play the repeating triplet bass part:

g---666555---666555---666555---666555------
d--------------------------------------------------3--
a-----------------------4------------4----------------
e--4---------4----------------------------------------

g--666555---666555---666555------
d------------3-----------------------------
a------------------------4-----------4-----
e----------------------------

I hope this helps :-)
