Happy Day (Fee)

Here's Happy Day by Steve Fee, a very, very energetic (and happy, of course) song. And also featuring the dark brown guitarpraise tee.

The song's in Db major, which is pretty hard to play. So I turned the key up - to play it in the original key, either tune your guitar down by one fret, or lower all the notes by one.

I did some tweaks to my effects too. Instead of running two class 30 amps at the same time, I've switch one of them to a matchless chief, the same as what Nigel Hendroff is using. The Class 30 amp is running a classic distortion (Rat simulation), while the Matchless is running a tubescreamer.

Bridge
Strum Bm (not in vid), followed by F#m G D. To make it a little lighter, i activated the push-pull pot on my guitar to use just the single coil on my humbuckers.

2nd part of bridge - dotted 8th note, play each note a few times.

At the end, slide down to create some sound - hard to put it in words but its in the video.

Hey Kenny your guitar looks twice as good as it usually does and I like the "Transformer?" in the back ground.

Jerome - just send to your guitar tech, and he'll install it into your guitar for you. Its some kinda wiring thing.

Jam - its the new webcam :) and yes its optimus prime..

hey kenny.

first off, love the blog. its helped me a ton for songs.

second, i have to disagree with you on the chorus riff slightly. I play it like

e-------------
B-10-8-7-8----
G--7-7-7-7----

all in all, great work. thanks a bunch. you are truly a blessing.

Hey, i was wondering if you're using a Podxt here? and if so, would you be able to post a download link for the tone?

Thanks in advance
