Glorious (Parachute Band) + Palm Muting

Anyone heard of the Parachute Band? They're from New Zealand, and some of their songs are pretty great. I think they might have some downloadable samples of their full songs on their website (do a search for it), under 'worship resources', or something like that.

Here's one song which is almost entirely based on a riff played on the lower strings of the electric. I included the chorus at the end for you to sample too.

Notice that the intro and chorus riffs are picked normally, while the verse requires palm muting - although the same effects and notes are used, the muting changes the sound quite abit. Here are some pictures to guide you along if you're not familiar with palm muting:

Not Palm Muting: the side of my hand is resting on the bridge here, and the strings aren't touched and muted. Some bridges might not allow you to do this though (i.e. if you touch the bridge, you touch the strings).

Palm Muting: the side of my hand gently rests on the strings near the bridge. By doing so, the vibration of the strings is slightly dampened.
