Feel free to use the 'sweeping wah' effect for the 2nd half of the verse, and to add some delay as well. Use a slight palm mute for the fast picking parts so as to reduce string vibration.

oops my tab got messed up...the only difference is that you keep strumming the 7th fret on the B string along with the 7 and 6 on the G.
