Free Worship after a Song

Having a segment of free worship after a song - a quiet part, then a climax, followed by another quiet part (something like that) - gives worshippers time and space to worship and embrace the meaning of a song fully. It also doesn't feel so much like going through the motions: "ok this song is over, let's go to the next one".

Here's an example that we did for my church's service last week, with Hosanna:

For this to happen, the musicians really need to feel the atmosphere, and what the worship leader wants, because you can't plan as thoroughly as with a song.
