You're not going to be able to get completely spot-on with the recording if you use standard tuning since JoC uses EABEBe for this song and pretty much ever song on their first album, but if you use 020400 (0204xx, etc) instead of 020200/0202xx I think you'll find it to be a better match.
Also for this song I thought they switched E A and D strings with the octave strings, sort of a nashville tuning. You can find the octaves in a set of 12-strings
