Unchanging

Here's Unchanging by Chris Tomlin, great song, and plenty of interesting riffs.

The intro and first verse in the original recording uses some electronic effects, I've transposed them over to the guitar using the usual dotted eighth note delay, with high feedback settings.

I found the ending bit quite repetitive and draggy, and included some improvised guitar parts behind (not video-ed) to get the guitar engaged in some free worship, along with the voices. Hope you like the effect.

Tabs
Intro
(use the dotted 8th note delay with high feedback & mix settings to get the notes to repeat)
----------------------------------
-------11--------------9----------
----13-----(x2)-----12----(x2)----
-13--------------11---------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------

Verse
(with the same delay)
------------------------------------
-------11-------9--------9-------11-
----13-------12-------12------13----
-13-------13-------11------11-------
------------------------------------
------------------------------------

-----------------------------------
-------11-------9-------11-------9-
----13-------12------13-------12---
-13-------11------13-------13------
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Repeat the verse again, but without the last three notes (the music stops here).

Chorus
Strum the following
----------------------------------
-16-16-16-16-14-13--13---(x2)-----
-13-13-13-13-13-13--13------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------

-------------
-14--16--16--
-13--15--13--
-11--13--13--
-------------
-------------
If you recall I used the 'alternative power chords' (one of the theory & techniques lessons) for the 2nd half of the chorus. Repeat the chorus.

2nd Verse
Keep repeating the two octaves:
---------
---------
-12--13--
---------
-10--11--
---------
Refer to the vid for the timing.

Bridge & Instrumental
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
-10-13-12-13-10-----13-12-13------
-----------------11----------11---
----------------------------------
----------------------------------

----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----13-12-13--------13-12-13-15---
-10----------10--13---------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
Keep repeating, even when the vocals enter.

Ending
-------16-------------------------------------
----14----14-13-----(x3)----------------------
-13-------------15-------13-15-15b17-15-13-13-
----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------
Repeat once, followed by:

----16---------16--------16-------
-13----14---13----14--13----14--repeat till end...
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------

Frankly I find the ending quite repetitive, and that a free worship guitar instrumental would better bring the song to a climatic ending, so feel free to play around with the ending.

Believe the original is Ab, move everything down the neck 2 steps (subtract 4 from tab) to play in E

Pocket toywatch white plasteramic enjoyed connected success throughout the 1800s with the accepted man, conspicuously railroad workers. After an 1891 blow acquired by a railroad operator's watch endlessly and after killing 11 humans in Ohio, designs by the Ball Watch Company became the reliable Cadillac of the watch industry.
