Revolution

Revolution is a very difficult song to play, so don't be discouraged if it takes awhile.

I'm still sneezing vigourously, so no video today, but I've used an old recording I made some time ago in preparation for church service, where I dubbed my guitaring over the recording for the instrumental & bridge portions. It should make the guitar part easier to hear.

Tabs:

Verse
I tabbed out the verse portion some time back, on this blog. I've copied the post here to complete the song:

D#
One generation, living salvation
. . . . F#
Here we go
D#
Seeing revival we will defy all that holds us back
. . F#
from You

Tabs: use power chords for the D# chords, with LH percussive muting in between, & the following tabs for the F# chords:

-----------------
-----------------
-6--8--10--11----
----------------- (x2)
-4--6--8---9-----
-----------------

For the verse, can't you just play the D#m barr chord? That's what I do and it sounds fine...

GREAT site! Nice job folx!

what effect do you use on the instrumental part, and you really play the song like the tab or delay do that.

I picked everything in the video (didn't think of using delay then), but you can use an eighth note delay to help you out too.. shld be easier this way.

hey kenny - the tab to the intro is this:
The only thing it was missing was the 13, 11, 11, and 12 on the d.

One other thing is that on the verse, it's not just a straight D#. I play it like this:

-----
--6--
--6--
--8--
--6--
-----

Hopefully that'll help everyone here. Just wanted to get those details straight.
Nice job playing the instrumental and bridge, by the way.
