Jesus is Alive (Bass)

By Bass Levite

I like this song for many reasons. It's a great proclaimation of our risen Saviour, Jesus, and the song is very lively indeed! We often do this song during Easter. The song is jazzy and the structure allows a lot of improvisation. Because it's a jazzy type of song, I rather not tab it out exactly as it is. Instead, the way I approach this is to use elements used by Fish, my own improvisations, and some common improvisation techniques.

The song is quite repetitive, so I've played it through a few rounds, each with a different style and improvisation. Enjoy!

Ignore the mistake at the end... where I played an F instead of a Bb, because I wanted to stop the recording.
