How Can I Keep From Singing

Here's 'How Can I Keep From Singing' by Chris Tomlin... what I like about this song is the chords used in the verse, the rest is pretty straightforward:

Tabs
Pre-Intro
Use a clean sound, with some delay, to create a bell-like quality for your sound. The one I used in the video isn't entirely appropriate.
----10-------10--------11-------11-------11----
-------11-------11--------13-------13-------13-
-10-------10-------10--------10-------10-------
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------

Intro
The tone I used in the video is far too thin, use a thicker sound instead.
-8s10-10-10-10-8----8s11-11-11-11-10-8----
-----------------11-----------------------
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------

-8s10-10-10-10-8----8--
-----------------11----
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------

Verse
------------------------------------------
-------11--------10--11--13--15--11--8----
------------------------------------------
-10s12-----12s10--------------------------
---------------------10--12--13--10--6----
------------------------------------------
The 2nd half of the above line plays notes in thirds; this harmonizes well, and vocalists often sing together with similar note intervals.

Chorus
Strum the following chords
-------------------------
-11--10--11--11--11--10--
-10--10--8---7---8---10--
-8---10--8---8---8---10--
-------------------------
-------------------------
Bb . . F . . Eb . .Bb/D Eb . F

Depends alot on the equipment you already have.. maybe up the bass and distortion?

Nice!

How do you do the bridge? Especially the part where it climbs towards the end?

since the key is in Bb, maybe drop tuning the guitar down a half step and droning the Bb while playing the intro riff might work to "thicken" the tone

i'm pretty sure he does this with "your grace is enough" as well

Hey man how would i do this without a capo...like in E?Move down 3?

E is quite a big shift.. you have to play 6 frets higher up, or 6 frets lower down.

Daniel Carson has some YouTube Videos, and he show how to play this on one of them. He plays it in the key of A live (capoed in G on the 2nd fret) and he plays the intro riff entirely on the B string while droning with the G. He also shows how to play the arpeggios during the bridge (it has some very big stretches).
